At CFS, we pride ourselves on making sure that we only ever use the finest materials to install our polished concrete floors and composite metal decking. This not only ensures that we are given a head start when it comes to laying down the highest quality floors on the market, but it means that our customers will get the end results they have been looking for.
If you have been looking for high-strength, easy to clean flooring options for your factory, store, warehouse, or even for your own home, get in touch with us today. One of our team members can help you to choose the floor you want, made from the material that will suit your property best.
All of our designs are kept in accordance with the Concrete Society’s Technical Report 34, which is the industry standard. As such, our customers know that they will be receiving nothing less than the product experts expect.
Our concrete floors are all made from cement, water, and the most appropriate aggregate available. This is usually a coarse material, such as gravel or ballast. Adding this to the solution gives our floors the strength and durability they need to withstand heavy footfall and traffic, and also makes it easier to work with and build on.
This is what makes our flooring perfect for industrial, commercial and retail settings, because it will be able to take the number of workers, customers and vehicles that your property sees every day, all while taking no damage. Our floors are designed to last, and the solution we use to mix our concrete makes it happen.
Our concrete is also easily power floated, if you need a smooth, polished and water resistant finish for your concrete floor. See our page for more information, or get in touch with us today and talk to one of our members of staff about what we can offer for any new purchase. We will be happy to help with whatever you could need for your new concrete flooring, whether you need power floating or a brushed finish.
While our screed is also made from a mixture of cement, water and aggregate, we will use a different aggregate to the material used in the concrete itself. This will usually be a fine, sharp sand, rather than gravel, as this helps to give it a tightly packed texture and makes it a suitable top layer for one of our concrete floors.
If you would like a screed layer added to your concrete floor slabs, simply let us know when you call to place your order. Our work team are more than ready to tackle the job, no matter how big or small.
Composite metal decking is comprised of both concrete slabs and metal beams, which work together to reinforce the structure. The metal decking, typically a steel floor reinforcement mesh, is placed down first and the concrete is then pumped onto it. The steel mesh acts as a heavy-duty framework for the poured-in concrete, meaning there will be no need for props to work as reinforcements.
This type of flooring is now a standard in modern offices and other buildings, owing to the fact that it provides a long-lasting, strong foundation with properties designed with support in mind. It is also capable of withstanding fires, due to the fact that the steel beams prevent the concrete from cracking and degrading.
If you have been looking for a concrete floor reinforced by steel floor decking, either for the brand new office building you intend to erect, for a factory floor to support machinery and heavy load vehicles, or even for properties such as leisure centres, cinemas or schools, contact us today. We can help you to install the floor that you need, when you need it.
