CFS Begin Balfour Beatty Among Other Projects
This week, CFS have began working on several projects across the UK. Namely, Balfour Beatty, Audley Runnymede retirement village and Englefield Green.
Eurozone construction sectors boosted in February by German and French recovery
Construction firms in the Eurozone were boosted last month by an upturn in building activity following a slow start to the year.
German firms led the way with a sharp rise in activity, while there was also a return to expansion in France, according to the widely-regarded IHS Markit purchasing managers’ index (PMI).

PMI rose to 52.6 from just above the no-change threshold of 50 in January.
But Italian firms saw a growth slowdown for the fourth consecutive month.

Worthing pupils brighten up seafront construction site with colourful mural
Pupils at a Worthing school have brightened up a construction site on the seafront by creating a vibrant mural. After discussing artwork ideas to spruce up the Bayside Apartments development, pupils at Chesswood Junior School came up with the idea of Worthing Through the Ages.
They were provided with materials for the project by developer Roffey Homes and got to work to create a vibrant piece of artwork on the previously blank development hoardings to inspire the community.

The Christie Reveals Designs for Paterson Redevelopment
The Christie has showcased its proposed 270,000 sq ft replacement for the Paterson Building, which was severely damaged by a fire in 2017, ahead of a planning application in May.
The existing building was ravaged by a fire in April 2017 which left it unusable, and following the incident many of the its staff were relocated to Alderley Park. The Christie had explored repairing the building but concluded either keeping it in its current state or refurbishing it would not be feasible.
